Happy New Year
to Clash Royale fans around the world. – I’m Seth.
– I’m Drew. And we’re here
on another episode of TV Royale to tell you about the newest card
coming to the Arena in Season 7. Yes, she is called “The Firecracker”.
Here’s a cool gameplay. Let’s get into it. NEW CARD
FIRECRACKER Firecracker is the newest card
that’ll be coming out in Season 7. Firecracker is a three-cost Common. She shoots her firework,
out of her homemade bazooka. When it hits the first target, it deals a lot of damage to them,
but explodes in almost like a cone shape. Yeah, and hits units behind the target. The first version
was actually called “Rocketeer”. She was a little more military, – more…
– Musketeer. More like Musketeer-ish
and had a multi rocket. She didn’t really hit what you wanted her
to hit, so we thought, “Hey, how about when she hits something, she fires a hunter projectile
like a shotgun.” That was kind of inspired
by Penny from Brawl Stars. Penny shoots her little coin purse thingy
from a cannon. It hits all the Brawlers behind. We were like
“Hey, let’s take that idea and steal it.” We knew right away, after this change,
we’d like the gameplay, but the name Rocketeer didn’t quite fit. When this concept art had a torch,
we thought she looks like a renegade. She’s an archer
but she didn’t like being an archer. She leaves Archer school, comes across the Rascals:
rascal boy, rascal girls. Bryce gave out the idea of Firecracker
as a really cool name. It’s perfect as you think
she’ll have a small effect, but she goes with a big bang.
It’s an ironic name. Yeah, it’s as calling a big dude “Tiny”. And you see her pull out a big bazooka. Why did we choose to put
another long-range card in the game? When you have a Giant
with a Musketeer a few tiles behind it, it’s actually hard to hit that Musketeer. We like that the Firecracker
hits the main target and based on how you’ve angled it,
as Magic Archer, based on your geometry, – Geometry!
– if you can hit the main target, the shrapnel that fires behind
will hit the support troops consistently. Yeah, kind of like, punish the troops
that are hiding behind the tank. This is a really cool concept that we
wanted to introduce to lower levels. The firework that she shoots is
so large and powerful that it knocks her back two tiles
every time she fires. Also, with the very long range, she can reach things that maybe
many other troops couldn’t. Yeah. she’ll hit the Princess Tower,
the shrapnel goes behind the tower and can chip damage away
from those buildings. There are cool ways
to activate the King’s Tower with her. There’ll be some fun experiments
while playing with and against her. So when is Firecracker
going to be released? At the start of Season 7, she
will be available in a challenge and the same as we did in last season. For those that missed it, when you unlock Firecracker, she’ll then be boosted
to your King Level. If you’re King Level 13, you’ll get a maxed Firecracker
unlocked for you. Some of the nitty-gritty stats: three-cost, Common,
will be in Hog Mountain once she’s fully released but, of course,
you can unlock early from challenges. She has the same Hitpoints as an Archer,
so she can be taken out by Arrows. Right, but she will survive the Log. Firecracker will be entering
the Arena alongside Season 7 which we’re using to celebrate
the Lunar New Year. We have a brand new Arena coming.
We can say her release will be explosive. If your New Year’s resolution
was to not look at your phone, break it on Jan 6! – Don’t break your phone!
– Break the resolution! Come back for the Firecracker,
start of Season 7. Make sure to subscribe to catch the new Season 7 video
that will be out soon. It shows you
the new Arena and Tower Skins. – We’ll see you there.
– Yeah. Bye!
