Gioia Bruno continuously makes an indelible impression on the world of dance music as 1/3 of the group Exposé, with her band-mates and friends Ann Curless and Jeanette Jurado.
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Exposé’s landmark album Exposure, Gioia Bruno shares tales about the group’s beginning, popular Exposé v songs, music videos and photography/album covers, the potential for some new songs/singles in the near future, a very unusual concert, and more!
Exposé embarked on their musical journey in the mid-1980s, becoming the first group in history to have four top ten hits on their debut album, surpassing records originally set by the Beatles and the Supremes. When rock music was ruling the charts in the ’80s, Exposé brought dance music back into the spotlight. Some of their hits include: “Seasons Change;” “Point of No Return;” “Come Go With Me;” “Let Me Be the One;” “What You Don’t Know;” and others.
